My wife and I are extremely happy and blessed to have found the Family Birth Services. Our baby was born at home, we had a lovely and very memorable experience. Our midwife was April with her student midwife assistant Alyssa. They were both very patient throughout the whole delivery, assisting and informing my wife in every stage. I was blown away by their service because they went above and beyond in everything they did. So much so that our apartment was left clean and neat as if nothing happened. As the dad, I would not have it any other way when it comes to experiencing our baby's birth. It was just so beautiful and I felt so at peace having the midwives here and with us at every moment. I would highly recommend all my friends to have their babies with midwives, highly recommend April and Alyssa at the Grand Prairie Family Birth Services.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the women at Family Birth Services. They are the most knowledgeable sweet and caring people. I had the opportunity to go through my second pregnancy with the help of April and Sarah. At every single visit they were smiling and welcoming. I know it takes a lot of energy and patience to deal with many pregnant women 24/7 and to remember every woman’s story, so for this I am very thankful. They are very resourceful, they know exactly where to send you whether it’s a chiropractor, placenta encapsulator, breech specialists etc. I absolutely recommend this birthing center to any woman looking to experience a natural birth at a birthing center or home birth.
I cannot recommend this birth center and these midwives enough! During the tour, I got to talk to the midwife that would be MY midwife if I went with them, which meant a lot because not all birth centers do that. I went with a student and licensed midwife and that was a cool experience! Lincey and Esther were AMAZING! They answered all my questions really thoroughly. They gave me dietary tips (which I truly appreciated because it helped SO much with swelling, etc). They were encouraging about everything. I joked with them that the first 15 minutes of every appointment was my \therapy time\ where I whined or cried or rambled... and then we did all the medical stuff after. :) They are kind, understanding, friendly, and knowledgeable ladies. And they were even able to snap a few pics of the birth and cord cutting for us, which meant a lot since it was just my husband and I there. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend these ladies to anyone looking for a midwife.
I had a wonderful experience using Family Birth Services. I live in Thailand, but I came to America to have my baby. They made my experience so good, and they made me feel at home. The midwives are so sweet and helpful. It was a great place to give birth at, and I will definitely use them again for future pregnancies.
I had a great experience with the midwives at Family Birth Services! Becky and Roxanne were knowledgeable, calming, and professional throughout my pregnancy and the birth of my baby. I will definitely be back in their care when I have another child. Rebecca (Becky) was fantastic for the birth of my second as well! So calm and professional. I am so pleased with these lovely people. There was an issue with the state accepting the birth certificate, but awesome administrator Betty was so persistent and got it all squared away. If I ever have another child I will be back!
