Went to stadtpark in Hamburg before a concert and was amazed at how large and beautiful the place is, especially on a sunny weekday! Walked to the planetarium which is an impressive building set in beautiful grounds. When you are at stadtpark make sure to get the chips with mayo and ketchup from the little shop near the kids splash/play park as they were the tastiest I’ve had!

Fantastic park, cone here for leisure in open air. You can barbecue here, swim in the lake or take sunbathing. On sunny days it's full of people. For concerts it's a great place as well, they're really well organized with all the technical facilities needed. Acoustics are usually good.
This is a perfect place to go for a run and a family picnic
Nice wide green, overcrowded whenever the whether is good, especially on the weekends
