There are not enough superlative words to describe my experience with Dr. Gregory Evangelista at Evangelista Orthopedics, Scottsdale,AZ . I was recommended to him by his colleague for a total shoulder replacement surgery. On my visit, Dr. Evangelista was friendly, informative, and highly professional . He showed me my MRI and x-rays and clearly described the surgery I would require. He answered the questions I asked in a clear and concise manner. His staff were helpful and informative. I was able to receive a surgical date less than a month after my visit. The morning of surgery, Dr. Evangelista visited me and described again what options he might employ depending on what he saw during surgery. He was reassuring and positive . I had full confidence that I would be in talented and capable hands. I can't praise enough the surgical center he operates in, Greenbaum Surgical Center ( Honor Health). The staff is exemplary in their care of patients. I was very impressed. My surgery was on time and my recovery ( which has only been 2 weeks) is remarkable ! I don't know what magical formula Dr. Evangelista uses but I have had very minimal pain and have been to PT (2 days after surgery) and have progressed in that area also. In closing, I must admit I am in my 70's , no spring chicken, but am recovering like one!! Many grateful thanks and accolades to Dr. Gregory and his staff !! They're Magical !!!!

Dr. Evangelista replaced my hip and I am so grateful. I had the easiest recovery and rehab. My life has improved incredibly with the ability to walk again without pain. What did people do before they had doctors like Dr Evangelista? I hear about other people having their replacement parts go wrong with other doctors and know that if I ever need another part replaced, I don't have to worry about ever having to redo it due to a dr with perhaps less attention to detail. I'm just so happy I have him in my corner!

Dr Evangelista, his office staff and the team at Greenbaum are the best in the greater Phoenix area. After having a tibia plateau fracture surgery with meniscus tear in Dec 2019, he determined the hardware needed to be removed in August 2020 and there was a further tear. This was during the Covid period and I was in a total panic. I had interviewed 3 other surgeons, and decided I liked Dr Greg Evangelista the best. He was also referred to me by one of my other Dr's who I trust. He was so smart, caring, and listened to my concerns. I hope I need an orthopedic surgeon again, but if I do, this will be the only office I would use.

For several years, I went to doctors for my left shoulder pain and had many, many physical therapy appointments. I had surgery for a torn rotator cuff and a torn labrum (with a different surgeon), but that didn't fix my problem. Then the pain became intolerable. After being told, that I was too young (42 at the time) to have a shoulder replacement, I decided I needed another opinion. So I reached out to Dr. Evangelista's office for a consultation. After reviewing my MRI, past surgical records, and x-rays, he agreed that the shoulder replacement was the right direction to go. So we proceeded to schedule and have the surgery. Dr. Evangelista's office staff were marvelous. Dr. Evangelista was very attentive and really wanted cared and wanted me to be pain free. His surgery was a success! The day after surgery, I knew already that this was the best decision I ever made. The recovery was easier than my prior shoulder surgery and I am thrilled with the results. I still follow up and get evaluated to make sure that my replacement is not wearing done. His staff and Dr. Evangelista are always so caring, cordial and friendly. I highly recommend their office and should I need anything additional to be replaced in the future, he will be the doctor that I see. Thank you Dr.. Evangelista for relieving me of those years of shoulder pain.

This medical practice is a wonderful place. It has a very friendly and welcoming office staff, especially Maria. (I broke my wrist in Colorado and had a VERY difficult time finding a doctor here in Scottsdale, AZ to remove my cast, even though I had copies of my medical records and xrays.) I was blessed to find Evangelista Orthopedic clinic. Dr. Gregory Evangelista removed my cast from my broken wrist and referred me to Evangelista Physical therapy. I couldn't have been in a better place for my PT. Sean and Ben are the best! They are professional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this entire practice!

Back in 2011 our 87 year old mother broke her hip and shoulder. In the Apache Junction Hospital emergency room we were told no surgeon would do the hip replacement due to her cardiac condition. They said that if she did not have the surgery she would have to go into hospice and would have up to 3 months. We were referred to Dr Gregory T Evangelista by her cardiologist office, Scottsdale Cardiovascular Center (Dr Alan Tenaglia). Dr Evangelista performed a partial hip replacement on our mother giving her 5 more enjoyable years to spend with her daughters and grandchildren. She was also able to go on family outings and road trips. THANK YOU for giving her and her family those extra years .. we were truly blessed ! I also had the opportunity to become a patient of Dr Evangelista. The staff is very professional, courteous and a pleasure to talk with. Was able to make a timely appointment. When I arrived at the appointment I did not have to wait long and Doc was extremely thorough in explaining the procedure being done.
