The opening of RMNP excited us and we had to go. The park rangers had everything under control and gaining entry was smooth, minus the somewhat lengthy delay.

This is one of the best gift shops in Estes Park. I always find cute gifts here for family and friends. Also a good place to find a rain jacket, or polar fleece to take up to the Alpine area. Love that they don't scalp visitors with high prices. Neat jewelry and some handmade pottery, along with the nice embroidered items with elk, moose and sheep. Best gift item, a hand made pot, that says a \A little pot from Colorado\!

The gift shop is like if you grandma was a hoarder and owned a gift shop. There is literally something for everyone. A hidden gem for burgers & sandwiches. If you buy something in the gift shop, you get 15% off on the restaurant.
