So this is not the same restaurant anymore I'm not sure why it's still labeled this. I called and asked if they had mole enchiladas and she said yes. I placed my order and went to get it. It took forever to get my order, and the enchiladas were not mole. She gave us red and enchiladas and her answer was “ well these are mole for us”. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I understand they need customers but the approach was incorrect. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else

I've been coming here about once a week for 35 years, since I lived in the Mission in the 1980s. I've lived in the East Bay for 20 years and still come back to Pancho Villa in my old hood for their classic super burritos, happy hour tacos and when in a celebratory mood, the hot spicy prawns dinner plate. No matter what time of day, there's usually a line, but the dozen team members behind the counter work fast, and the food comes quickly and tastes great every time.
D'Sotos now...new owners? Don't care...great food. Conga burrito is no joke! Great salsa too.
Ordered this plate. The place was out of beef so I was given pork. The egg was overcooked. The mole was good tasting but that was it.
The food is homemade greatly seasoned flavors. Hand made memelitas and empanadas de flor de calabaza and quesillo are awesome. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend
Today we stopped by and just so happens that Father’s Day is “Dads eat for free” so we stopped by to eat... my goodness the food was delicious and I left us wanting more... This is a family owned and operated business and the service was great. The entire family ate for a reasonable price and we will be returning. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. You have to try this place. Great Oaxacan/Mexican style food. Never had Oaxacan food before today. It was great... sadly no pics were taken because we were too busy eating
I have eaten here a total of 5 times so far, and want to try the whole menu! Everything I have ordered has been delicious. The service is prompt and courteous. A previous commentor said there was no parking. Not true. Parking is in the rear of the building, and you can enter near the patio seating. The food is made from scratch, and is very fresh. I highly recommend their chile relleno plate, rolled tacos, and tortas. Freshly made chips and salsa await! Try the offerings from this extremely nice and gracious family!
unfortunately I have it I have to give it a one-star just to Rate. I wouldn't even give it that. I wasted probably about 50 on some nasty mole, the rice had no flavor they forgot the beans the birria tacos were garbage had bones in it. Over all bad experience I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. You're better off going to taco Bell.
