I absolutely love my new, custom-created dining table. I thought I knew what I wanted, but I didn’t realize what an amazing process it would be to have a table created from a slab of wood (beautiful maple with character) that grew in a local forest here on the Island. And a lot of choices! But luckily I had Stephanie as my consultant – she explained options to me, and was patient and accommodating each time I changed my mind. The final product, created by Stephane D. and his team, is truly stunning! When I sit at the table, which I do a lot now, I keep studying all the different features (some spalting, some rippling, small knots, and the different shades and long lines of the natural grain). And weirdly, I keep wanting to touch it, run my hands on its smooth surface. One more thing I should add about the delivery and assembly which was also excellent, despite a glitch. Jason unwrapped the base, we discovered it was stained a different colour than what I (with Stephanie’s help) had decided on. Absolutely no problem there, just a very apologetic man who took it back to the shop, and within a week all was corrected. No issues, no hassles. My entire experience with Live Edge Design was great! I loved everything about it, and don’t regret spending what I initially thought was a bit more money than I planned. It was, and is, worth every penny.

Live Edge Design provides detailed customer service and are true craftsmen with meticulous attention to the products they create. I ordered a live-edge bedroom headboard with river glass insert. This is a larger piece for a king size bed. Their whole process was thorough from selection of the wood slab and custom glass colour, to design drawings that required customer approval. Upon delivery, there was a elatively\ minor imperfection we couldn't live with. Live Edge graciously re-made the whole order with new slab and new glass, at no additional charge. You couldn't ask for anything more. The finished product is now hanging on our wall and looks fabulous. We like their work so much we ordered an entry console table of similar style with a river glass insert, even though we don't really need a new entry table (but theirs will be unique and look so much better!). Thank you all at Live Edge. For people that appreciate unique top quality work, we give our highest recommendation to your firm for all types of wood products.
Small table for a small space and only from Live Edge Design - I knew of their love of trees and the excellence in design and craftsmanship so when a table for my too-large-but-works-very well printer was needed, there was only one place to go. Karin made the process effortless and now I know to let them do their thing - you are provided with a complete detailed plan before your creation is made. I couldn't ask for a more finely crafted and well made table and what a privilege to see this table every day. I am very glad and honour the Builder, whose photo is affixed to a plaque underneath. The legs are adjustable and measurements are exact. The finish is sheer perfection. Its the tree though, such a beauty and handled so well. Whatever your needs are, I strongly recommend and encourage you to contact Live Edge Design.
