Couldn’t work out if it was Beef Jerky or boot leather in amongst the batter. The only resemblance to a fish was the smell! Never again! Say that, the Drakes in Ripon is actually nice!!

The chuffing cheek of it! Sent me a fish that without the batter is about 4 inches long! Never again, you have lost my custom permanently.

Great fish and chips. Love the old school layout of the building. Gets really busy on a Friday for chippy teas but worth the wait.

Very nice fish and chips. They also do nice pineapple fritters. Very friendly staff and quick service

Just had the most awful fish & chips and probably the most disgusting meal I’ve ever eaten. Fish was soggy, mushed up and very greasy. It looked like the fish was literally thrown into the wrapping as it was also broken up and mixed in with the chips. No scraps like asked for. If we weren’t in a rush to get home we would have demanded for our money back. Never ever ordering again, and would advise anyone thinking about it to go to somewhere like Gravelys or The Wharfe.
