The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The visitor center is under construction but the Rangers are friendly and knowledgeable. Went out of there way to help us with our family geology questions. Such a sad but important part of history.

Enjoyed hike around park, as well as park history. Great place, park ranger very informative.
Loved showing my kids the history behind this place. Also has historical markers and audio you can log into to make it more informative.

Great stop for a history tour, we logged on the internet tour and at each numbered stop listened to the audio, it was really well done! Kids loved it too.
