Several things to do here. There is the Salmon viewing centre itself, which is small and run down. However, this is compensated for by good riverside walks, an archimedes screw power generator upstream (worth seeing if you are not familiar) and a good cafe at the car park serving tea, coffee, soft drinks, light lunches and tray bakes.

Not sure what I was expecting but it certainly wasn't a five minute wander around a room that resembles an old boiler house. Positive note its a 1 in an honesty box and there's some good walks and a lovely cafe nearby.

Beautiful scenes and highly informative centre unfortunately I never seen a salmon this time but im sure il return for a walk.

The new extension looks great, very friendly and helpful staff. However, slightly let down by the food. The paninis are thin and tasteless, still hungry after mine. Sorry to say that but you need to know!!

exciting to visit at this time of year, a lovely walk there from opposite Selkirk Cricket club entrance.
