Phenomenal experience at the Donna Belajac Actor's Studio Active Analysis with Cotter Smith workshop! Hands down the most beneficial acting workshop I have taken in Pittsburgh. Anyone that is intimidated by the Stanislavski Method need not worry- Active Analysis (and Cotter Smith's completely open, non-pretentious approach) feels like playing without judgment or expectation...there isn't even always an awareness that you are technically a student. For me it was like a semester of drama conservatory training condensed into a five hour day- and was indeed "joyous". The rumors are true- Cotter Smith is in fact as superb a teacher as he is an actor!

Donna Belajac and Missy Finnell run a top notch casting operation. As an actor, I am always impressed with their professionalism and their strong understanding of the actor and the audition material. They get it, and that often makes all the difference in getting the best from the talent.
