Delicious food overlooking beautiful scenery
The view is great, but that is only if you sit at the tables that are near the river, otherwise you will have to get up on the chairs to be able to actually enjoy it. Sad, they should have made the walls lower for that. The restaurant furniture is a bit old and not that inviting for my taste. Maybe in the sun the mood wouldn't be this raw. The waitress was friendly and she was quite quick with the overall order but I guess that's because everything was previously cooked and just warmed after to be served. The food is not fantastic as I am used to in Bayern, it didn't taste like a freshly done meal and because of that I just can't justify the cost of it. The Schweinshaxe meat was very hard and just not freshly done. And for 15 a plate this had to be at a higher level than making my guest stop eating it because of the poor quality and taste. The Wiener Schnitzel should have been just one huge tasty piece and not 2 small pieces of just quickly uniced pieces of Schnitzel thrown on the plate. I had to hear that from my other guest too. At least the French fries were good, but I was feeling to uncomfortable to ask if they were from a bag or fresh made at this time. As fot the dayli course, I have enjoyed it but this too should have been a bit better, as it was a bit over salted. After all that they didn't even had the decency to change the food or not charge us the full price out of respect. No, they ignored everything and insisted that the food is as fresh as it can be. Well for the prices wee have paid this should have been the case but as I am giving you my honest opinion, I will sadly add that this was not the case and I will stay away from this place.
