It's very nice place
Nice and quiet place to visit. Enough to do for kids. unfortunately this place is not very sustainable in terms of heating, the house has a lot of single layered glass.
Great accomodation. Friendly staff, and a few of them speak English! But one problem... MOSQUITOES
In short, throughout most of my stay I had a good time, but the hot summer days in a small house like this made me realise I should have gone for the camping option here instead of the house that week. Here's a quick rundown of my experiences: I had some misplaced expectations about the proximity to other guests; but, to my surprise the noise and light levels were good overall, even for basic stargazing. The service was very good and friendly and the location near the countryside and forests had a charming appeal. They even helped us with questions and sorting out options for the baby and offered to give us a place best suited for the crib. (it ended up fitting perfectly!) Maintenance and power tools in high season felt out of place. One house even had this on three sides with sandbelts and such. Yikes! Tip: With zero insect screens and still water in the heat of summer you have a house at 30C. Make sure you prepared against mosquitos because you don't have insect screens and you'll really want ventilation.
Nice and cozy accommodations, friendly staff and has a great restaurant.

Feels like home... that is not so little for a Sicilian in the North East of Nederland!
