I was on my way to work when my car started making a loud grinding sound. I pulled over and called this shop because I was just around the corner. Doug told me to swing by and he’d have a look. He did a test drive, hoisted her up, and looked until he found the culprit. He spent 20 minutes with my car and didn’t charge me anything. I drove to work with peace of mind. What wonderful people!!

I am beyond disappointed in the service received at this mechanic shop. Not only do I feel like I was taken advantage of , I feel my family’s and my safety was in fact jeopardised by their negligence. I brought my car here based solely on good reviews as I needed a good mechanic being fairly new to the area. I never thought I would need to leave a negative one but feel people need to hear this honestly. I will never do business here again. Took my car in for what I believe is a pretty routine fuel filter change. Got it back and it reeked of fuel. I was concerned as this has never been the case before . After a couple of days, for peace of mind I brought it back to the shop to have them check for a leak. I saw them simply hoist the car up, hose it off and tell me there was simply some fuel puddled on top of the tank from the change, there was no leak and the smell would dissipate. I was sceptical but tried to trust their work. The next time I filled up my car, fuel flooded out and I was unable to drive it, leaving me stranded. The mechanic I brought it to (not trusting DC to touch it again) inspected and said the filter was simply not tightened properly and was causing the tank to leak. A twist with a spanner fixed it after about 5 mins. Can’t believe that this could happen. Even with me bringing it back to DC a second time to check out I was still fobbed off, leaving me with a ticking time bomb in my car driving about. Not too mention being out of pocket for a tow, new mechanic and the original job not even done properly. Glad I didn’t get any other major work done there. Shame on you. I wanted to give you my business as you were a friendly family based shop but I can’t overlook this and feel so betrayed.
