I have taken my chihuahua to Dawg Dayz for the past 5 years, since I rescued her. Jovie LOVES it there. As soon as we get close, she's perked up, wagging her tail, and can't get out of the car soon enough. I take her for daycare, boarding when needed, and grooming. The staff is wonderful, welcoming and friendly. My pup can be ornery but they seem to adore her all the same. I started taking her there because it was a convenient location. The location is no longer convenient due to moving and new job, but I will gladly go out of my way for a place that my pup loves. Keep up the great work!

Dawg Dayz is the best thing to ever happen to us! It's so wonderful to have peace of mind while I'm at work knowing that my dog is being well taken care of and is out having fun with DD staff! Before coming to Dawg Dayz my dog was often anxious and jumpy. Our previous daycare would leave him stressed and still full of energy. Now that we go to Dawg Dayz, my dog is a changed dude! I can't thank them enough for the social skills that they are teaching him! The staff are great and they take good care of my baby boy!

DD is not a plush and yuppy puppy palace. It is a place where a dog can be a dog. Emily and crew make sure that the dogs get tons of exercise and attention. My dog was not very well socialized, and I noticed a world of difference after I started taking him here to play with the pack. He was mistreated by a groomer years ago, and Emily has patiently worked with him so that he is no longer fearful. You are not going to get painted toenails and a bow with grooming, but your dog with be treated with incredible kindness. I have used the boarding services a number of times, and I know that there will be proper exercise and care. Update: We recently adopted a little shelter pup. I was concerned that he might associate doggy daycare with his time in the shelter. Absolutely not the case. Olly loves going to DD with his brother.

We bring our border collie Willie to Dawg Dayz for doggie daycare. He really likes it and comes home all tuckered out. Emily and her staff are friendly and welcoming and greet us by name. Dawg Dayz is adjacent to a county dog park. The dogs are taken on group outings there where they get to run around and explore. Drop off and pickup are convenient, especially if you make use of a punch card option.

Awesome people. They really care about your dogs, and they don't cage them up! They are free to play and have fun all day!

I visited the near east location on Dewey Ct. Emily gave my black labradoodle a wonderful haircut. Even though he had gotten a significant haircut, he still looked like himself. At other places he's come out looking like a skinny legged shaved poodle. Keep up the good work!

I took my Cocker in for a grooming and when I got him back it looked like he was groomed by an amateur. His fur was different lengths all over his body. His face was not trimmed properly His ears were not clean. It was the worst grooming job I have ever seen. On top of that the staff couldn't even read my phone number right off the form I filled out when I went in so I didn't even know when he was ready. I will never return here and never recommend it.

I brought my 5 year old Pomeranian in last week to be groomed. Despite the appearance of the outside of the establishment, I went against my better judgement and took my dog in to be groomed. We are newer to the area, and other places I called were booked for the date we needed. I was very displeased with the results. I gave the groomer the same picture that I gave my dog's last groomer, and the results from Dawg Dayz looked very amateur. He was shaved down shorter than we asked for. And his head was shaved down way too short...he lost that "Pomeranian" look, and ended up looking more like our Chihuahua. His fur was also patchy and not trimmed evenly. And to top it all off, we found 2 cuts that I was not informed of when I picked him up. This upset me the most. He's been groomed at least 10 times in his life, and had never once been cut by the clippers. The groomer's excuse for not informing me was that they were busy and she forgot to tell me. It's not difficult to write a note to remind yourself to tell me something as important as "keep an eye on these two cuts so they don't get infected!" The manager was very apologetic when I called to complain, and did offer me a refund for most of what I was charged. I found this to be pretty reasonable, and I was glad the situation was able to be remedied. Unfortunately, I will not be a returning customer, and do not recommend going here for grooming services. Lesson learned...now I will only go to places that friends have recommended to me!
