First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone working at D&J beauty & Thai SPA. You have all been amazing!! I can say with a big smile on my face, that I am finally healed and can get back to my sporting activities. I would especially like to say a big thank you to Joy: Thank you for your patience and your excellent understanding of the muscular body system, your advice was vital for me. I can honestly say that this place puts clients before money. Recommend to everyone!

I went for waxing, not massaging. I understand from the reviews that the massages are outstanding, but that's not been my experience when I went for a wax. I'm sorry to say because the man on reception was so sweet and clearly mortified for my bad experience, but it was simply put the worst waxing experience of my life. I went for a simple bikini line and now I have on one side a Brazilian and on the other... something else, in waves that go deeper in or closer to a bikini line. The hot wax dried up too quickly (I guess?) so it was extremely painful to remove, bit by bit, and the rest had to be done with strips. I now have bruises on the pelvic bone. Thankse beautician initially seemed of the opinion that it was my hair that was too long (which may be, although others have always waxed it no problem, but even if it was then surely an expert would know not to use hot wax on it, or to trim it first, or whatever?) -- and then said it was the wax that had dried too quickly. Whichever it was, the result was so painful and unpleasant that I had to ask her to not do my armpits (even when she started using strips, she didn't hold the skin down sufficiently to avoid the strip pulling the skin as well as the hair). They were nice enough to give me a refund, which also means I can't leave a review on Treatwell, where I booked after checking the 5 stars reviews. I really want to think this was a blip, but honestly it was horrific and when I left I just wanted to cry.

D&J Beauty and Thai Spa is an amazing place with high quality customer service and best massage I ever had especially a deep tissue massage, everyone are very nice and welcoming, also they provide me with different beverages including honey-lemon ice tea, hot ginger tea or a bottle of water in a takeaway cup, which are very nice of them, and it a well money spent, and also this week they are doing 15% OFF on all their massage treatment, so if you are reading this, give them a try since it is very cheap but high quality.
