First visit to the golden Loch today and what a great place. Beautiful surroundings and first class facilities. Made to feel welcome by owner and enjoyed the fishing and surroundings even though I didn't manage to land a fish. Will be back soon.

I am a fairly regular visitor to golden loch I have nothing but praise for the way that John and his son rum their fishery, and I always enjoy my fishing there, nice suroundinģs and good value for money.

Nestling in a hollow between hills this wee loch sits in a gorgeous setting with 6 boats and bank angling available.It is a well stocked loch with mainly rainbows and some blues.With friendly owner John Nicol giving plenty of advice .Give it a try if you are in the area.
