This rental company and it’s employees do not care about their customers at all. Megan is one of the property managers and you cannot count on her to call you back for anything. I have had to call her every single time. She does not know how to manage a property and her customer service skills are highly lacking. She messed up my application by including a third person and had to rerun the application which delayed the initial process. Then when we were approved, she said the house wouldn’t be ready for another 2 weeks. The house we put an application in for said that it was available online for weeks already at this point. Lease signing day comes and they don’t do walk thrus with customers right now but I assumed she had done one herself before offering it to me. I was wrong. I get to the house and it’s obvious that no one has even cleaned the house because there are still dishes in one of the cabinets there’s also stuff in the dishwasher. There was trash inside the trashcan inside the garage. That is not what I call move-in ready. It has now been about two weeks since signing my lease and I don’t have hot water so I can’t even take a hot shower in the place that I’m living in. There is a way to put in a maintenance request however don’t do it on the weekend because nobody sees it and if you call the emergency line hot water is not an emergency and they basically refused to come out unless they absolutely have to. Every single experience that I’ve had beginning to end with this company and with Megan have been very unpleasant. I started leaving emails so that there’s a paper trail of our conversation and in my emails I request for Megan to call me and still I have to call Megan because she cannot read apparently and does not Know what it means when somebody ask you to call them. Do not run from this company unless you wish to spend a year of your life with hassle and all of your needs being on meds and all of your money still being taken.

I rented a shop building for 4 years never late on rent. Paid 1st of every month. Went and signed papers saying I would vacate by the tenth. Never got any of my rent monies back and my deposit was transferred to the next tenant,didn't get that back either. once asked to get trees trimmed around building because when the wind blew they slammed against the side and roof. Apparently went no further than front desk.
Pros : Walk-In Closet, Quiet Neighborhood Cons : Everything is CHEAP Kitchen Tile, Wall Paint, Refrigerator, Carpet, Blinds I recently moved out the 1 bedroom unit after a year and it was a good place for myself, good management etc. But the kitchen tile floor is so cheap that it would stain easily and even after cleaning it; it will still stain to the point it won’t even come clean anymore. The carpet is the same way. You can try to clean it but it’s not coming clean, it’s obvious they purchase the carpet from a low end business in bulk. The paint on the wall gots to be from dollar tree or something because one touch and a stain. You try to wipe it and a stain. The room blinds were a pain to pull down because everytime I touched them the rod got stuck and maintenance had to come out and replace them!. You can’t just keep the unit clean. Just a FYI the Unit has spiders/ants and MANAGEMENT DO NOT COME HANDLE THEM, they will tell you that it’s your problem. The only my good thing about this company is RENT! But like they say RENT CHEAP GET CHEAP SERVICE!!!
I always loved the look of the townhouses on E. Erie so when I got married, it was the first place I looked for when searching for a new place large enough to accommodate my husband and I. A unit opened up just at the right time. Upon move in, everything was clean. We had very little issues while we were there. The few issues we had with drainage clogs, the girls at the office, Brittani and Megan, always had someone sent out in no time to fix. I had read some of the bad reviews about being charged fees out of the deposit unfairly. I was a little scared and called to schedule a walk through upon our exit, like I had read in the other reviews. The girls tell you up front they are not allowed to say anything at the exit walk through. I explained I was a little scared of being charged fees that weren't fair. They give you move out instructions that are very clear and the girls explained as long as you follow that and you truly didnt cause damages beyond normal wear and tear, there shouldn't be an issue. They were correct. I didnt schedule a walk though as there is really no purpose in doing so. We did everything asked on the move out list and we received out deposit back in full. Dont let the bad reviews sway you. This is a great company that will do you right. Thanks Cowherd for providing a great place to live while we prepared to buy our house. You all are awesome!
