Rodrigo was an excellent instructor. He went above and beyond while incorporating real-life experiences into the class. I was a little nervous to take the class, as I figured I would be the youngest person in the class. But Rodrigo made sure that I felt included and understood the information. Rodrigo is an asset to the City of Chicago. Illinoisans like him are what keep this state together; people that consistently strive for better.

I consider myself lucky to have stumbled across Rodrigo. An incredible instructor, a better person. Really cares about his students and the community while a trying to actively make a difference through the courses he teaches. This was more than just a class, it was an experience that other classes don’t incorporate. Going over more than just the “minimal required curriculum”. I hope more can meet and learn from Rodrigo, a true bright light for Chicago, and the community. This course really prepares you and sets the proper foundation for CCW. It’s important to get off on the right step and Rodrigo certainly does that and beyond.
Great instructor who truly knows his stuff. Was able to teach my partner and I a ton over the weekend and helped us both feel more confident, pass our tests, and instilled a desire to continue training so we feel truly safe and comfortable with our firearms. Thanks for a great training, and we look forward to coming back for the tactical training weekend.
The instructor and environment was awesome! The knowledge of the instructor was relayed effortlessly which made me more comfortable. He, made me feel like my understanding of the responsibility of being a gun owner was extremely important. He kept it 100% and I'm already looking forward to attending his advance classes and encouraging my friends. Those 16 hours were well spent and I'm thankful. This is THE BEST CCL CLASS.....
The course was excellent! Rodrigo took time to explain laws and techniques with care and diligence. I would recommend this course for the novice shooter to the most experienced.
