Couldn't have asked for a better program and instructor! Thom is very knowledgeable, professional, and patient. It's been awhile since I've shot a firearm and Thom's o pressure\ and \fun\ instruction style made my reintroduction all the more enjoyable. I definitely recommend the Level 1 Handgun and CCW Course to start, and you should not go anywhere else but Smokngun Firearms Academy!

So glad I went here for CCW and Level 1 Gun Safety. Thom is very knowledgable and a great teacher, good combo for a trainer. I would definitely go back for Level 2 when Im ready. I highly recommend his class to anyone especially first timers and also beyond!
Our course was fantastic. I’ve been shooting guns for several years on my own and with friends. Tom took my wife and I through an handgun safety and handling instructional and in a matter of minutes I began dialing in my shooting. I am more comfortable now and wish I’d taken this course sooner. Great course and I highly recommend it!
I had little to no experience going into the course and Thom taught me the proper way to handle and shoot a handgun. He was very thorough and answered any questions our group had. I personally feel more safe and comfortable now, Knowing more about my hand gun. Can’t wait to take course 2 to learn more!!
