Best experience! The place is amazing and super comfortable, full of couches and relaxing area, there is a common room filled with entertainment where you can fresh yourself. i highly recommend it along with it the management is really nice and cooperative.

This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, air conditioned, large lockers for the bigger backpacks, free wireless internet in the lounge with some computers also connected to the internet, Overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend dis hostel to every couple and families:). You won’t regret, just be there:)

Our stay at hitchhike was the perfect start to our month in Sri Lanka. We were the only people in the hostel when we arrived but that made it all that much better as we got a truly personal service from the friendliest family hostel. You can tell Khanthi and her nephew Lucky have a true love for their country and are proud to showcase it providing amazing advice on travel around Sri Lanka from first hand experience which is so valuable. The hostel is beautiful and spacious with everything you could need. (Karrom Board, Table-tennis and a lovely view from the rooftop) Although not in the centre of the city, it's well connected by regular buses or a quick tuk tuk ride from the main train station. 10 min walk to the beach and plenty of good cheap local places to eat. - Cannot recommend staying here enough
