I wouldn't say communication at this college is bad - it's non-existent. Never had trouble in OTHER colleges knowing of a start date. They will either send you a letter or an email well in advance. THIS college - nothing. I had to chase up so many times. Given one number after the other. Passed from pillar to post. The admin team don't have information ready at their disposal. One dept doesn't know what the other is doing. There was a teachers training day the other week. WE WERE NOT INFORMED about this at all. Ended up making way into college to be told to go home. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. No lesson plan, don't even know if we're following the syllabus? Who knows. We have an app we can message the teacher - never any reply when you ask a question. Left wondering if there's even a lesson some weeks. I don't even know how we're gonna get to the end of this course and even pass it. The teacher is ok, but there is no communication anytime you email or phone, no reply. I chose this college because it is local and have always wanted to come here. I fear if I'll even get what I came for. The college doesn't put learners first and take enough responsibility. I just hope I get out of it what I need to move on. Woefully inadequate college. Will not recommend.

DO NOT STUDY HERE! The worst communication I’ve ever had, I have spent nearly four weeks either on hold or waiting for someone in the college to help me. I was never told when I officially started, what days I was meant to be in, they originally had me enrolled on two courses for some reason. Super unprofessional, no departments talk to each other it is a complete waste of time and money, luckily I had never paid for my course.

Studied computing. The teachers were great, very professional and explain things clearly and give you feedback to improve. However the IT technicians in this college are a joke. Computers most of them in the classes half of them weren't even working. The teacher even emailed them and some of us even wrote down the computer number and room number of all the computers that weren't working and gave it to the library receptionist and said they would pass it on so that the computer will get fixed. They never got fixed the technicians in this college are very lazy and I don't even know if they are qualified. The overall college is depressing happy I'm out of there. The reason i don't give one star is because of the good teachers we had, if you want to study computing i recommend this college.

Extremely dodgy college. Not a good place to work or best place to study. Was once a respectable technical college with good quality staff who have long retired. Since going mainstream it has been run and staffed by destructively dodgy and incapable riff raff, some still there holding on for retirement and some no longer there having successfully lied their ways into new roles they are not fit for. Totally gone to the dogs.
