When I received a quote from Coles Refrigeration for the repairs to my air-conditioner, I was struck by the cost of a fan motor that needed to be replaced. So I researched prices online and discovered the same model fan was being sold for considerably less. I emailed the technician immediately in the hope that he could persuade Coles to give me a discount on their price. Not long after, the same day, I received a phone call from the Coles technician who said he'd be pleased to match the price from the other supplier. He then said, "You do realise that the price quoted by Coles was for two fan motors, not one." I checked the quote and discovered, with a good deal of embarrassment, that he was right. As it turned out, Coles had given me an excellent price for the parts straight up, without any need to haggle. Their price was nearly 20% cheaper than the motor I had sourced online. It was a relief to discover that there are still businesses operating, like Coles Refrigeration, who value the customer, and whose genuine desire is to provide excellence in service at prices that are truly competitive.

To the Owner/General Manager I just wanted to pass on my thanks to your staff for the excellent service I received today. I was having troubles with my Hiace Refrigerated Van, and I needed to get it fixed today. I called several local companies who all said no, however one said give Coles Air a call, they should be able to help. I called your office, and got a lovely, helpful receptionist (sorry I don’t remember her name). She said the manger I needed to speak to wasn’t at his desk, but she took my name and number and said he would give me a call. I was called back by Frank shortly after, who was great, he looked to see what staff were available and organised a technician to be at my house the same day! Finally, your technician Mitchell showed up, he was excellent. I informed him off the issue/possible causes, he checked these and said it was simply a settings issue. He adjusted the setting accordingly, explained everything in detail, tested everything to ensure it was working, and even emailed me the user manual so I can adjust in the future myself. I was stressing about the van not working and needed it fixed a.s.a.p. Working in operations myself, I understand demanding customers and the importance of getting this done fast. My issue was fixed onsite in a mater of hours. All of your staff were very helpful, I could not be more thankful. Thanks again.

The air conditioner in our office really struggles when we have hot days. Recently we decided to have it serviced before Summer so that we were prepared. We called Coles Refrigeration as we knew them to be a long term Newcastle business. The service was done within a few days and yesterday was the first really hot day we've had since then (37 degrees). We have been in this building for 10 years and THIS was the first hot day where we weren't all sitting around fanning ourselves. I had to walk outside to really believe it was hot. No hesitation in recommending Coles Refrigeration for any air conditioning needs. They really are the AC professionals.
