Be aware of their car park! We were given a fine after mistakenly paying for the adjacent car park due to it not being clear. Even though a waitress checked it for us. And reading through some of the reviews this isn't the first time its happened. Food was distinctly average too, and had waiting times of over an hour both times we visited. It does deserve a one star because of its nice view overlooking the seafront. Sadly, won't be visiting here again though. Instead we'll try some of the other establishments lovely Clevedon has to offer.

Food was nice. ( very poor customer service maybe due to covid ehh...) Hope that standard will return. However I like the place.
Great pub, good bar service. A pub to sit & relax or to meet up with friends & family. I recommend The Salthouse.
We ordered roast beef that was over cooked and dry I asked to replace my mine because the edges of the roast beef was crumbly dry. They said the chicken would take longer and I liked it.I was so annoyed about the quality if the service and the apoling food. I asked to cancel but she the manager insured me it was on it's way although I said I don't want the food anymore as I am disappoint with the first dish. Hey she brought the chicken roast wich at that point I was not happy about it. The chicken was almost under cooked. I would avoid eating there if you want value for your food. It's a shame the food is terrible. The location is awesome.
Overcooked, horrible deep fried food. Will be re-tasting it for days. Covid precautions poor - we had to request our table to be cleaned after use from previous diners. Too many people outside, too many tables too close together - very hard to social distance. Impossible to park. Staff not unfriendly, but not particularly friendly either, more indifferent. Nice location though (maybe that's worth one star). Would not recommend!
