Amazing place with beautiful sunsets mirroring on the Main river. The locals love to be there till late in the evening. You will find clean toilets 30 meters away from it, inside the see building. The Bier Garden offers little snacks, typical German Biers and soft drinks. It is located next to the promenade along the Main River.

Cool beer garden just beneath the Johannisburg castle with a gorgeous and romantic view of Maine river, which is always busy - be it kayakers, swans, ducks or boats. Sunset looks amazing from here. Pils beer tasted average at best, weissbeer had fruity tones. Not the best I've had, but not bad either. 4/5 for the beer and 5/5 for the view and location.

This is one of my favorite spots in Aschaffenburg. Situated right next to the river with beautiful lights twinkling above when it gets dark, this biergarten feels downright magical. You can easily get a spot from which you can see the river, as well as the Johannisburg castle peeking out through the trees above. It's the perfect place to sit down and relax. And not only is the location beautiful - the beer is refreshing and delicious, as well. Very strongly recommended. Tip for travelers: In Germany, they charge an extra euro or two to ent\ the glass. Make sure you bring the glass back up to the server to get your euros back.
