We met sam on our trip up north and it was the most amazing experience ever! so good to finally know what its like to be on the other side of the camera :-) and sam made it so easy! we didn't even notice the camera in the end, it was literally just a fun hang out exploring the coast and laughing a lot! you won't regret it . The process of finding a videographer for our wedding was challenging - we didn’t know where to start. Then, my partner Zach found Sam & Dani of Cinematic Tide! I met Sam, Dani and their young daughter for the first time when we had dinner at a local restaurant. We all connected instantly. Sam’s laugh and lively personality were so infectious and Dani’s lovely smile and quiet confidence put us right at ease. They suggested that we write our vows down and told us that both of us would be mic-ed up for the ceremony. On the day, Sam was cool, calm and collected with a healthy dose of cheerfulness. Like our photographer Teo, he gave us just the right amount of direction which brought “us” shining through. Both he and Teo clicked instantly as well. Every time one of them would spy a beam of sunlight, they were tell us to, “Quick! Chase the light!” and we would make a run for it. It was such a fun day and they made it incredible. In the months after the wedding, we kept in touch and Sam and Dani would give us little updates and sneak peaks of their editing process. The final result of the wedding video was amazing. Zach and I couldn’t stop watching it again and again. They captured the feel of the day so beautifully, it felt like we were transported back to our wedding day. Sam and Dani had asked us for video clips of us doing everyday things. They incorporated them so seamlessly into the video. One of the clips was of Zach playing a piece he had composed on the piano. Somehow, they managed to find another piece of music that had the same feel, key and instruments, and blended them together. It was incredible. We have no words! It’s apparent that there was a great amount of love, care and effort that went into the edit of our wedding video. Thank you, Sam and Dani - you made the whole wedding process that much more fun and exciting. Anyone looking for a wedding videographer has found the perfect team in the both of you!
Cinematic Tide live-streamed and recorded our wedding. Due to the pandemic we were only able to have 30 people, but thanks to Cinematic Tide our friends and family were able to watch a high-quality and well-produced stream. Many of our guests have since told us how much they enjoyed the experience and were surprised at how much it felt like they were there! Afterwards we also had a beautiful recording of our ceremony and speeches. If you are having a wedding and either want the day recorded or live-streamed we could not recommend Cinematic Tide more highly.
I can’t say enough about Sam and Dani! Our first meeting was via Skype and we knew immediately they were perfect for capturing our adventure elopement. These guys are very professional and unbelievably talented, not to mention hilarious and just super fun to be around! These two made it very easy to relax around the camera and just really enjoy the moment. They captured every bit of our day and turned it into the most magical cinema we could ask for. Every single time I watch it, I cry. I would recommend them 100 times over! You will not be disappointed.
