I had duck , rice and Dal , the taste was decent nothing great, the cabins are dark. The food is overpriced for both taste and ambience.There are many great ethnic restaurants even in bigger cities which offer much better food at this price point. I am not saying it is bad , it is just not the value for money in any aspect be it taste, service or ambience.

Chiphong is one of the famous ethnic family restaurant . The food is totally authentic and exclusively ethnic with no added masalas . The food tastes scrumptious with all the local herbs and local ingredients. Well maintained and clean . The ambience gives ethnic vibes of a village cozy home crafted with bamboo . Separate cabins are available. Rest rooms are available and need to be more clean though . Ordered tupula bhat , pork pulao ,pork tupula , chicken tupula , duck telbiyali, chicken with thyme and tenga dal .

I don't know about food as I only had Black tea and omlette but the ambience is so peaceful...A quite place to spend some quality time with your dear one's

It's a blink and a miss kind of place if you are trying to locate the restaurant. But once this job is done, all the toils you may take to locate the same are worth it. They have quite a good assortment of ethnic dishes to offer. Pork with Mezzenga and Tupula Pork is by far the best dishes on offer. Only drawback is that at times, most of the dishes are unavailable. Also cabins are thatched and cramped and maybe a little re decoration of the interiors can resolve the same.

Visited again..it was a 4th time i think... today's experience was so good..nd the food was mouth watering...bt last time was not good they didn't paid attention to us nd didn't served food ..but this time was very good being here
