I went for a deep tissue massage, 1 hr for initial 60. I'd say between 2-3/3-4 stars out of five. I think it depends on different factors when rating the establishment which jostles the scoring. I definitely appreciated the shower in the room which I used twice, before and after. I think deep tissue varies between thumb/elbow techniques across venues. This one was more thumb but I didn't raise objection. I liked the calming music. I wish I cud have stayed longer. It was definitely a firm deep tissue massage: I nearly screamed in pain (compliment). If you go wear something toned down but nicely fitting and casual smart; and, go after gym to really untie knots. I think for a more aromatic/relaxed massage it costs an initial 45 for 1 hr. There were two staff: receptionist and masseuse; the masseuse was nice-looking. The secretary was sweet.
Fabulous place! Highly recommended. I found myself in Reading with an unexpected spare hour, so walked in and they were able to fit me in for a massage straight away. Very warm, friendly welcome, and a fabulous massage therapist who really knew what she was doing. Left feeling much better than when I arrived, and the tight hip/glute muscle I've been struggling with, and which I requested help with, is much improved. Many thanks!

If you want to escape for a little while this is fine for a basic massage. However, anything but a body rub, this is not the place to be. They have no knowledge of massage or various kinds. They all offer extra services and become lost and uninterested if you decline! If the extra services were all part of a proper massage, then there would be no need to charge so much extra! You leave there more wound up than when you entered. Get people who are not overly tired and know the art of massage and maybe things will improve!!
