Thank God for Smith and Thomas Funeral Home. I am from out of town, so I had to shop around by phone for funeral services as my family member was nearing the end. I contacted many other places and they were either very pricey or didn't get back to me. The S&T Staff worked with our tight budget, but didn't skimp on services. They were compassionate and professional all along the way. I have recommended them to other family members wanting to prepare. When they came to get the body, my sister turned to me and said, \These are the type of people I would like to have around when I am dealing with the death of a loved one.\ I couldn't agree more.

Mr. Smith has a professional stern demeanor but has a really soft soul. when my grandmother died and we had such a challenge he seen how overwhelming things were becoming for me, he got up from around the desk took me by my hand and walked me outside and said...I think you needed to get some air. It may not seem like a lot to others but it was exactly what I needed a breath of fresh air and he stood their in silence until I was ready to go back in and it was as if I was given new life. Thank you Smith and Thomas team you are a pillar that our community needs. It really hurts to read some of these reviews because I cant even imagine. Some people expect miracles and demands that is beyond their budget, and want to take it out on others. SMH PEOPLE
