Cute little zoo. Definitely worth the money. A lot of things were closed due to covid, so I recommend bringing your own food because all you can get there is pretzels and popcorn. The staff wasn't very friendly or informative except for a young man in the snake house. He was willing to answer any questions we had and did so with a smile and an obvious love for the animals. I wish I'd caught his name. This zoo is definitely not an all day zoo, so plan to do something else that day as well.

While my first instinct was that this zoo was a bit expensive for the size of it, but going through this very walkable zoo you can find pretty close observations of all the animals. Lots of interesting exhibits, and it's also under expansion-so it'll only get better. If you have little ones, take the zoo train as it takes you through at least have the zoo and you can find what is most interesting for your child.

You gotta love a trip to the zoo! This isn't the biggest zoo you'll ever see, but they do a great job. Very clean, organized, open, and fun! There were peacocks walking around, a little train for kids to ride, a petting zoo, just EVERYTHING we hoped for. We'll definitely be back.

Great little zoo in downtown Chattanooga. A nice 2-3 hour walkthrough. Well worth your time for a quick visit.

If you are in the area, the Chattanooga Zoo is one of the iconic \must visit\ places. I have a membership (well worth it,) and have also volunteered here a few times. Regardless of season, it is a relaxing place for adults to stroll and an exciting time for kids. They have friendly staff, train rides, a petting area, event space rentals, special shows, and a better variety of animal exhibits than you would expect for a small zoo. \Boo In The Zoo\ event for Halloween is the one time not to miss!
