Dr G treated me for about 2 years but when I became unstable she sent me out with the idea that I'd be back once I was stable. Now I'm stable and wanted to go back but she declined me. Two years down the drain now I am unable to get a decent therapist and im left in a practice I get the bare minimum care

Jill kepner is my psychiatrist and is absolutely wonderful! She truly cares about how I'm feeling and getting my medications perfect. She is also very good about making sure I can afford my medications. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Everyone that I’ve talked to from here was very nice and professional. The reason why I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars is because of my overall experience with this practice. I requested an appointment online and got a call from their office really quickly. The woman I spoke to (I’m assuming the receptionist) was very kind and explained their process that they take before actually scheduling an initial evaluation. So I gave her the information she requested in regards to my mental illnesses and told them I’d be paying out of pocket since they don’t accept Medicare (paying out of pocket wasn’t an issue for me). After answering all the questions asked, she told me that they will pass on the notes from our conversation and then if the doctor can see me then they’ll give me a call back within 24-48 hours. I thought that was nice because it’s like a way of making sure I can actually be treated before setting up an appointment. A few day’s later I got a call to schedule my appointment, I paid for the appointment over the phone and everything was all set. Well today was my initial evaluation and I was told that if they would have known about the severity of my mental illnesses than they wouldn’t have accepted me as a patient and would have referred me elsewhere instead of making an appointment. So I’m not sure if the first person I talked to misunderstood my mental health, or forgot to write something down, or I’m not sure what happened; but I basically paid 175 just to be told that I can’t be treated there and was given recommendations on where to try and seek treatment from.

Dr. Georgoff has been in this profession long enough to be able to read her patients. If she comes across honest (some put it as rude or not caring...far from the truth) and straightforward, she is not the psychiatrist for you. She is a doctor, not a counselor. She is intelligent and resourceful. The first step in any illness is to recognize you need help, and be ready and willing to encounter your demons day one. No one else can do it for you.

I have had depression and debilitating anxiety since I was a child. Over 40 years of chronic issues and with dozens of doctors, not one really listened or helped me. That all changed when I was introduced to CVP by close doctor friend. I had called other psychiatry doctors and they had a wait list of 3-9 months for intake only. So that meant at least another wait once intake was submitted and approved. I called CVP and had an intake within a week! Not only did I go in for my initial appointment but it was with Dr. Georgeff. I gave her my background, she listened, and was able to finally prescribe medication that worked!! Dr. G is absolutely the best. She listens to me, she asks the important questions, and values my opinion. If a medication isn’t working for me or I have a concern, she listens and then has another plan of attack. When they offered the new treatment that was non-invasive for TMS she called right away to see if I’d be willing to try it. I did and it made the biggest difference in my anxiety and reduced panic attacks. I love how she checks in on me and makes sure to do follow ups when medication has changed. I have trouble certain times of the year and she made sure to ask if I was doing ok with holidays and anniversaries that she knows is a trigger. Thank you, Dr. G for being an amazing doctor. I wish there were more of you in this world. If you are on the fence about CV, just try it out. Don’t be afraid to open up and let them know your concerns.
