Very cool. Small museum of good quality. Well staged parking and trails to view the structures. A few thatched and reconstructed homes from pre-Roman through first century CE. And of course...a church built on top of it.

We went there to a medieval event and the place is awesome! It is a natural / geological reserve, near to the city and very well mainteined !
It's a very modest archaeological site, since it's rather small, but whoever created this place did an excellent job. I visited with my family on a Sunday morning, so there were no activities, nor could we visit the inside of the recreated stone dwellings, but there was still lots to see and appreciate. The explanatory plaques were very well thought out and provided relevant information both to the casual visitor as well as the more curious observer. The area is beautiful, with staggering views and the archaeological remains are well-preserved. My children thoroughly enjoyed everything they saw, and my eldest is studying ancient peoples in school so this place was perfect for her to learn more. There are picnic areas nearby that are well worth having lunch at when the weather is nice. Keep in mind that small kids will have to kept very close by as there are lots of places where they can fall and hurt themselves. I highly recommend this, especially for families with children who want to know a bit more about history.
Worth visiting because the views over Espendonde is simply stunning information centre was closed when we visited but we were still able to investigate
Very unusual and interesting iron age settlement. The view from the church to the sea was superb. Toilets let it down though.
Beautiful views and lots of history
Great for a picnic. Great views.
