As a high school teacher of 10 years and also school counsellor in private practice I can't express how grateful I am that my daughter attends Caroline Chisholm College. I've presented to the students for over 10 years and have worked closely with staff. Specifically the pastoral care staff who are amazing! This is a school that prepares our daughters for the world after school. We are very fortunate to have such a quality school in our local area. As with any organisation the quality of the school is a reflection of its leadership. Dr Greg Elliott and the leadership team have helped create a culture of kindness and generosity. The school is a forward looking, creative and innovative school with a focus on the wellbeing of its staff and students.

My aunt works at this school. She said principal Elliot and admin have an unwritten rule. rule 1: The student is always right. rule 2: the teacher is always wrong. rule 3: if you didn't get that go back to rule 1. She said the teachers are push overs. That all a student needs to do is complain to their subject co-ordinator, vice principal or principal and they get what they want. I give them 1 star for making spoilt adult children. No response from the school can take back the stress they cause my aunt.

Produces entitled students. Work here if you like being a milquetoast yes man. Good luck!

I have had the pleasure of presenting at this school recently. The staff were organised and welcoming, Dr. Elliott and members of leadership visited the session showing their support for wellbeing at the school. As a parent of a year 7 student I am delighted with how supported my daughter feels through this transition, how organised the whole process has been and how active the school is in communicating and including parents in the process.

I can not express what Caroline Chisholm college means to me. As a former CCC student I absolutely loved my time at the college. I was worried that my girls would not love it as much as I did, luckily they do. I can not express enough what Dr Elliott and all the staff have done for the well being of my girls. The love and support that the staff gave to my eldest daughter was one of the main reason of why she was able to sit her HSC and gain 7 early entry offers into Uni. They say that it takes a village to raise a child! Well I am glad that we are part of this village as I don't know where we would be today without the CCC villagers. My girls have definitely had their ups and downs over the years and whilst not everything has gone their way, they have been extremely fortunate to have had amazing experiences that I can say with absolute confidence would not have happened if they were at another school. I love the direction that CCC are currently taking by having the fortitude to think outside the box by offering our girls a different way of being educated. With all the new initiatives being brought into CCC I cant wait to see how bright our girls will shine in the future. I want to thank our village (you individually know who you are) led by our chief Dr Elliott, from the bottom of my heart for your support, love and guidance that you have continuously given to my family. To say I would recommend CCC is an understatement.

If I could rate this school with a 1/2 star I would. The current principal (Elliot) is all about accomodating to the student’s wishes and pleasing the parents. If you want your daughter to grow up getting her own way this is the school for you. Lately the direction of the school is experimental, based on the principal’s notion of how best to educate. If parents are pleased with the school it’s because unbeknownst to them, their child does get away with a lot. I am also noticing teachers are easily thrown under the bus to spare upper managements agendas. Lousy principal who comes across as pious, genuine and wise, but atlas he’s not. update: Below I was asked if I would be happy to come in and discuss. On the contrary, I have already discussed the issues and it was ignored by the current principal. In the last 2-3 years treatment of staff has become worse, so it is now someone's duty to warn any potential stakeholder about CCC. For your warning, there are entitled young ladies in which administration/management enables under this principals leadership, passing grades are issued to save face, there have been hostile/toxic work situations, the millions of dollars spent on building is a lure, and there is favouritism on certain staff.

Sounds like some abuse of power is going on the catholic school system. No surprise there! Glad someone came forward.
