Carers as individuals are very friendly, helpful and generally professional. However, the organisation behind the scenes needs attention - times of visits are changed without notification - I have raised this on several occasions, it changes for a short period to agreed times and then reverts back to changing times. Consequently the carers are often late (up to 1 hour) and they complain to us about having too many calls to do with not enough time. As they are rushed, this has an impact on level of care offered.

Choosing a care company for your relative is a very important decision. Care Matters made this process relatively easy and Jemma makes you feel secure in the service. The service started virtually straightaway and since choosing this company we have met a small bunch of carers and all of them have been lovely. My Dad is very happy with their service. The care and attention the staff provided for our Dad was superb. Very respectful and caring which helped put the family at ease. It is never easy having a family member requiring care, then having to find a care provider can all be too much, but from the office to the carers we were kept informed at all times, thank you Care Matters.
