An absolutely great place to visit if you have any gun queries when i went in the layout of the shop looked really professional and the service was second to none I would highly recommend this place.
I have dealt with F. J. Wiseman and Co Ltd. For over 60 years and have found them to be very courteous friendly and very patient. Their charges are reasonable and they don't try to fill you with a load of old codswallop, as do a lot of these so called gun dealers and gun shops, they are truly at the top of their game and the reason for that is they are genuine old school gunmakers, which are like finding hens teeth these days.
They did two jobs for me, one was fine and in a timely manner. The second however took forever, they repeatedly let me down on the completion date to the stage where I lost count. They also very rarely returned my calls. A four to six weeks lead time turned out to be over a year. Then to add to the disappointment the standard of work was atrocious and I had to take it elsewhere to be rectified.

As part of the process, they used their own adjustable stock to make the measurements for the changes needed on my gun. They make these adjustable stocks for the top English gunmakers and so know exactly what they are looking for when fitting a gun. I have no excuses for the season ahead as the gun is now a perfect fit.
