Breakwater scuba was a five star place. BUT it's under new ownership. The last place was five stars. The new place is not as neat and clean as the last place. I rented a complete kit. The wetsuits were new and the rest of the equipment was just fine. The workers were not as friendly and kind of snappy with the every one. I feel that the new owners have not kept the overall quality. I will look for somewhere else to rent from next time I'm in town to dive.

We had an amazing tour with Sarah 11/19/18, and a wonderful experience at this shop! Every we spoke to was friendly and helpful, and Sarah took the time to talk with us, fully go over the plan, and make sure we were safe, comfortable, and having fun the whole time. As newbie divers, this was really welcome and appreciated. The shop is an awesome setup and the location couldn’t be better, right across the street from Breakwater. The tours themselves were fantastic- the diving is amazing here! We definitely plan to come back next time we’re visiting Monterey and I would recommend this shop and a tour without question. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

I can not recommend this dive shop enough. From the adventure of trying to get my card to work over the phone to reserve DM, they were very flexible. The second I hobbled in, I was treated like family. I went on a single tank dive at the pipeline, and was treated very professionally. I’m an adaptive diver with a prosthetic leg. This dive was my first dive since losing it, so the experience was new for all of us. I was helped every “step” of the way. Upon getting back to the shop, we talked every over on what went good and what I could work on with my situation. I left feeling like I made an entirely new family. I will definitely be back many times. Even though I’m over 3 hours away, and many closer dive shops... this is my shop! I WILL be back to take my AOW course, and all follow on courses. To the owner of the shop, don’t change anything!
