A good varied amenu at 20e (without drinks) is available as well as a la carte options. Food was well presented and tasty, the location is quiet and the decoration is interesting. Options to sit inside and outside. The owner however was not friendly which was a shame.

The chef’s talent in creating complementary reduction sauces and taste combinations is exceptional. The thick cut veal with foie gras topped with truffle and Porto reduction was absolutely perfect. Vegetable and pine nut/raisin stuffed sea bass also stellar. And for desert I recommend the homemade Crema Catalana with strawberry necklace. We returned to this amazingly great secret garden restaurant several times during our stay to enjoy some more of the best cooking we have ever had in a calm and very relaxing environment.

Outrageously bad. The worst quality food at some of the highest prices in town. The paella (19) is old, reheated, with a skin on top, and inedibly salty. The stuffed roast goat (18) came straight from the microwave — tasteless, dry meat packed around overheated mush. The wine (4 a glass) was undrinkably rough. The bread was stale. Even the olives came straight from a can. If they hate food so much, why are they trying to feed people? Or perhaps a better question: When does a bad restaurant become borderline criminal? Begur has some great places to eat. Rostei is the real deal and a lovely place to spend an evening. Can Climent Platillos is outstanding. For cheap and cheerful food, l’Autentic Bar is unbeatable. Give your money to people who want to show you a good time. Please don’t spend it here.
