The guys did the spy room which was fun but hard and the girls did the thirst for murder room and they loved it! We had a lot of fun trying to beat the girls. Definitely a fun group event night.

Played the “hardest” room available. Clues were relatively simple and unfortunately there were very few puzzles to solve. For an escape room this straightforward and short, 25 per person plus tax is far too much to pay for the experience. A more reasonable price for what you get would be about 10 per person. I would recommend SmartyPantz Escape Rooms only to someone who wants to take a young child/group of children for their first escape room experience. Among the vast number of escape room options in Calgary, SmartyPantz would be at the very bottom of my list.
The staff is amazing, and are super helpful, while also making sure to immerse you in the experience. The regular rooms are a bit on the easy side though. The VR rooms look amazing, but unfortunately wouldn't work for our group as we had someone who gets vertigo from the equipment. It's also relatively inexpensive, so we'll probably be back eventually.
Being a locked room fanatic, I've visited almost all of the locked room places in Calgary, and I have to say, this locked room is really up there. The rooms were creative and so well set up. The actors are very convincing and really put you into the action. One of the best in the city . It is fun for any occasion and will be a great team bonding experience!
We completed the Spies and Lies room, which is boasted as the hardest room. However, the escape rate was 40%, which is easy compared to other escape room companies in Calgary. Our group consisted of 8 people that have done several escape rooms previously and for 25/person, I felt I did not get my money’s worth as we completed the room in 29 min (it’s only a 45 min room). There were no additional rooms in the escape room and the clues were exceptionally basic. The bragged about actor that brings you into the room and explains the situation was nothing special. I will not be going back! However, I recommend the room for someone starting out due to simplicity of the clues.
Great quality rooms with interactive staff that get into full character. They also offer a VR escape room which is pretty neat! Highly recommend this escape room :)
It was fun
The two rooms we tried were both imaginative and well built and designed. The hosts really get into the role play and it makes it all very engaging. Three of my friends had never done a room before that night, and now all 3 are complete converts; trying to get all their other friends to try it. Good job guys!
