BEWARE of their business practices: These guys are running a scam. They will offer you cheap initial price with an agreement of 1 year plan and after 1 year they will switch and BAIT you, trying to convince that you have signed 5 year contract and need to pay 500 to terminate the contract, as confirmed by several other reviews. This company needs to be taken into Consumer Court for their unethical corrupt practices.

Scam... Scam...Like others here, I got cheated too by their sales man, Who didn't disclose any of the underwriting. Offered very cheap rate for a one year term. Didn't explain anything after. Got trapped. beware of them they are a scam
All the 5 stars are fake....F rating on the BBB!! Don’t fall for the sales person negotiating 10/month. They will move it up after the first year to 39/month and lock you in for 36 months or 5 years. I sent a cancelation letter and once it was received they put something on my credit saying my bill was outstanding to a significantly higher amount than was actually owing. I coincidentally discovered they took me to collections after 1 month with no bill received. I attempted to call and ask for my last bill owing which they couldn’t accurately provide. Safety Alarm makes their own rules and they will stop at nothing to destroy your hard earned credit....don’t go with them!! I hope this review will help stop someone else from making the same mistake I made.
Don't sign contract with this company, they cheat! the salesman tells you that it is a cheap 12 month-contract, free to cancel, But he would not tell you that you have to cancel the contract within the first 6 month, otherwise it will automatic renew to 60 months, and the price will go up by 150% after 1 year without you consent. Better Business Bureau gives this company a "F" grade for a reason.

Worst Company Ever. They bait you in with low prices and then triple the price with 2 years left on the contract. Look at all their other "5 star" reviews. All of the users who reviewed them only have one other review and its for another alarm company (the must one both). SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME AND GO WITH A REPUTABLE COMPANY.
My experience with Safety Alarm was fantastic! My rep Leo was so kind and patient with me with all my questions. My system works amazing and I would highly recommend Safety Alarm! Great company!
They use very unethical business practices. Look at Better Business Bureau if you want to see the truth. The Business Rep says you can cancel, then they do automatic renewals for a much longer term and the company won’t let you cancel unless you pay full amount owing on the automated renewal term they never tell you about.
