Showed up late to my appointment due to my car's stater problems. Sam, the mechanic and owner got right to work on my vehicle, honoring our original appointment despite a large line up. He was really friendly, clearly knowledgeable and managed to diagnose and fix my faulty starter in no time. This is a quality and honest mechanic. Finally!

I took my truck in to Sam after a wiring short caused an issue within the Body Control Module, he and I both were reluctant to call it a BCM issue because of the expense to replace them and because the diagnostic codes from the ODB saying the shorts were general electric. Sam went to great lengths trying to find the issue before we replaced the BCM which was done at a fraction of the costs quoted to me by another mechanic. My issue with a lot of mechanics is that they will usually 'throw sh-t at the wall and see what sticks' while you pay for their trial and error. The lengths Sam went to figuring the issue out with my truck is the reason I actually came to the internet to write a review. Excellent service and knowledge, honest and reasonable.

I brought my truck into Alberta Auto Electric for two issues. I wanted Sam to check my taillight bulbs and for him to fix my headlamp short wire issue that was clear to see where it was shorting. He said he could not fix the wire and wanted to sell me new headlight bulb package (150) and with the tail lights I did all the manual labor of taking off the tail lights so all he had to do was check the bulbs and he ended up charging me 80 for two bulbs! I then went to a reputable auto electric repair and they fixed my head light wire issue for 20. They cut the wires and joined them together with solder where Sam said he could not do this and wanted to sell me new bulbs. He wasted my time, did no labor on my truck and charged me excessively for two bulbs. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I definitely will not be back here.
Amazing place - called in with a question about my new car which had display problems, the GM dealership I contacted prior were absolutely useless and refused to help at all in person or over the phone. I spoke with Sam, explained my situation - he gave me simple instructions over the phone to help me with my problem. His advice worked!! He could have easily had me come to his shop where he could of charged me for his time, service and knowledge. Simply put amazing service and mechanic. Going forward I will only be using these guys any service, maintenance or repairs. Honest, reliable and great service. Thank you so much again, I really appreciate your help!
