80 to rent kitesurfing equipment is quite expensive in my experience, especially if you are not allowed to rent by the hour. But that’s normal price in Lanzarote. I was expecting at least to rent good quality equipment, as I read in the other comments. Not sure why, but the equipment I was given was very old and bad quality. When I complained, Javier told me that if I wanted new equipment I would have to pay 300 if the kite only fell on the water once, even without damages. A couple of advices: 1- invest in better equipment, at least for people that come to rent and are not at their very first try kitesurfing 2- offer insurance options if you are afraid of good equipment getting damaged 3- be more flexible with the rates, if it is an unlucky day and the wind drops: I was able to surf only 1h with bad equipment before it started to rain, no discount was offered
