We just had a wonderful experience at Hostal el Cabildo. The service and the hospitality is unmatched The atmosphere is cozy and warm. The premise is a relic and represents and old beautiful era of Cajamarca’s history. The set up is enchanting with a beautiful central courtyard and a fountain with most rooms having direct access to it. The location is superb being 1.5 blocks away from the central plaza and most central attractions like “The Rescue Room” beautiful Downtown Churches ( San Francisco, the main Cathedral and Belen ) The staff is super courteous and attend to every detail. The rooms are well appointed and though not luxurious, have everything you need and more. The prices are a bargain. We are so happy we came to Cajamarca and stayed at this beautiful place and for the price it can’t be beaten !
