Perfect place for anybody who likes to get in touch with local people (and doesnt speak Spanish...). The casa is a place where you feel home instantaniously: the hosts are just perfect. They do not only cook for you (if you want; it is definately worthwhile) but prepare coca tea (strong!), have great advise on what to do in Cajamarca and surroundings. They can even arrange somebody to come to their house and do laundry for you! You can get there from the center with a motorbike for 2 soles in 10 min and are out of the more touristic places. Just 5 min walk away is a great polleria and also small shops to buy water and whatever you need... We enjoyed our stay wholewheartedly!

Definitely the best place we stayed in Peru. At « la casa Mirita » you will feel like at home. They are lovely people, they took care of us and gave many tips for our trip in Peru. The breakfast is awesome, and the coffee is burnt and grind by themselves. That’s the best one we ever drinked. Thank you again for your kindness ! Damien & Audrey
Fantastic, friendly homestay - Vicky and Mirita made me feel very welcome. I would strongly recommend if you would like an authentic Peruvian experience away from the 'touristy' centre of Cajamarca. Also, no problems with touring cyclists bringing their bikes - there's outdoor space to clean/tinker as well! :-)
Peaceful and quiet place
Precioso hospedaje, muy limpio, ordenado todo, siempre la señora estaba atenta con todo... su baño privado también muy lindo! Lo único malo es que estaba algo alejado de la plaza y que no tenía televisión, solo por eso le pongo 4 estrellas
