C and S paved our driveway today. There were nine people here to do the work. They made sure we had the necessary cars out of the garage. They were also very thorough in explaining when we could drive across it and when we could park on it. We really appreciate their attention to detail.
I am not sure if i am confident with how the drive way top looks. It feels like the topping could use little more Seal/ liquid to give it a sleek look and make it more durable. The driveway does not look as professional as it should for a company with 50 years of experience. The quality of the work that we should be receiving is not there for paying such high amount of money. C & S did drive way paving for a lot of builder houses in my community (D.R Horton Lakeville) and the quality varies from house to house. Some house the quality is good but some are like the pics of my driveway i posted.
Quoted me 1,750 to widen driveway during a repour by builder. 64sqft. Crews need to be in neighborhood anyway for other work, so they are charging about 860 per hour.
Last week C & S came out to asphalt our driveway. We happened to have one of our cars in the garage...the gentleman rang the door bell, asked us to open the garage and proceeded to work. There must have been 5-7 employees and not one of them at anytime had the decency to tell us to move the car out of the garage! It would have taken 10 seconds to say, hey, if you need to use your car over the next 10-14 days you might want to bring it out of the garage. (We had no idea how long it would take for the asaphalt to cure because of the total LACK OF COMMUNICATION, we had to call them after the fact and the receptionist then told us not to drive on it or park on it for 10-14 days. Would it have been that difficult for one the many employees to take another 10 seconds out of their lives and mention hey, don't drive on it for 10-14 days!) Before they rang the doorbell, I noticed they had already been working, maybe they didn't want to start over so once we opened the garage and they saw the car, they didn't mention to move it. The same day I called C & S to communicate to them what had happened and how I was unhappy that my car was stuck in the garage for 10-14 days. I asked to speak with a manager so she took down my info and said she would forward it on. It's now been 12 days and no call back, no email, no letter, no nothing. Not only do their employees not know how to communicate but their front office apparently does not know how to communicate as well. Would never recommend using this company for any sort of job, residential or commercial. This company has total lack of communication and is incompetent.
