Asked them if they do price match on a new Gamo air rifle They said they would if the other seller had it in stock. I made my way to the shop having verified the above to be told they ‘couldn't do the price match as there wasn't enough profit in it for them’ ! I didn't buy from them... I went to Solware Tamworth. Very poor business ethics from Livens and I will avoid them in future.

Fantastic customer service and support. Traveled from Cardiff in South Wales to pick up my first .22lr rifle, staff extremely welcoming upon arrival, offered a coffee straight away, and no rush to the sale. They ensured I was happy with the rifle before purchasing, and took the time to walk me through the intricacies of complying with the paperwork for a Section 1 purchase to ensure I was safe from any error in regards to my FAC. Not an issue for expired FAC holders, but definitely a nice touch for those new to the sport! I would definitely consider purchasing from Livens in the future!

I have recently moved from Devon to Derbyshire. I have used a few companies in Devon and although they were helpful, I also felt a little 'judge ' by the staff for being a female shooter. This does not appear to be the case at Livens. In particular the service I have received from Ben has been exexemplary. Nothing is too much trouble for Ben. He is an absolute credit to their store. Five our of five stars
