interesting museum inside and well maintained building, bit busy with tourists, think you would have to have genuine interest to get the most benefit out of a visit here

The amount of artifacts and history was truly enjoyable. The arena was impressive and the building in excellent condition. The musuem aspect was extensive and surprising. I highly recommend while visiting the area. It also has a restaurant/bar inside with a gift shop. This is definitely in the top ten if you only have 2 days here.

Well designed storytelling (get the mobile audiobook). Perfect length visit in the hot summer.

We were holidaying in Benalmadena in Southern Spain in 2002 and opted to drive the circa 60 miles by road up to see the Bullring of the Royal Cavalry of Ronda, Calle Virgen de la Paz, 15, 29400 Ronda, Málaga. The mountainous approach to Ronda is quite a sight with the Puente Nuevo bridging across the El Tajo canyon. Apart from the gorge/canyon views, the town is dominated by Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Ronda [a.k.a. the bullring]. Construction of the bullring started in 1779 and finished in 1785 and it's still in pretty good order. The bullring also houses the Museo Taurino dedicated to the spectacle, with two centuries worth of famous bullfighting regalia/outfits on display.
