A happy place for me. I love seafood, so clearly this is a great spot. They keep it simple and get it very right here. The host and his team are first class, friendly and attentive without being in your face. I didn’t have a reservation but they quickly seated me and made me feel very welcomed. I was here for a quick lunch and it was everything I could have asked for. I had the tuna tartare, 6 oysters and a glass of house white, all wonderful Unassuming but cool decor. When I am next in Brighton I know where I am dining.

I eat out a lot but this place is special. The service is extraordinary. The seafood is divine and locally sourced. Our oysters were great and crisp. The fish was on point and great. The dessert is also pretty pretty good. And all of that for a fair price. I would recommend that to everyone who loves fish.

Ordered a few apps. Sashimi, raw scallops and tuna. All were great. Followed by the seafood platter. We were worried that it wouldn't be enough - total opposite. There was enough for at least 4 people. There were a few things on the platter that us Americans don't normally eat, like the whelkes or the cockles.

Excellent food, brilliantly funny and charming service. Wasn't cheap approx 50 per head, but it was our anniversary so quite happy to pay for that level of quality. Let me put it this way, I don't eat a lot of fish because I'm not generally a big fan. However I'm looking forward to going there again as it was amazing. Seafood was top notch too. In fact if all fish and seafood tasted as good as it did in this restaurant, I'd cheerfully eat more of it.

My sister recommended this restaurant, I am a seafood lover so I really satisfied with the food here. Two starters and two mains plus 6 oysters are totally enough for me and my partner. Very good service and friendly staff. Normally need to queue to be served or reserve in advance but due to the virus, not too many people we just walked in. It should been a five star, but I don't like their chair and table, they are high and I don't like them. I know some people like to seat high but not for me, it could be better if there are normal chair and table that we can choose.
