A very nice medieval artifact. The fountain is set in the beautiful place. The best place to have chocolate, cakes and coffee in Bratislava.

The Maximilians Fountain, also known as Roland Fountain, is a fountain in the centre of the in the Main Square, in Bratislava Old Town. It’s a medium sized fountain with a sculpture of Maximilian II, King of Hungary depicted as a knight and wearing medieval armour. The sculpture stands atop a column in the centre of the fountain and on the column are four sculptures of youthful boys spewing out water from their you know what. The fountain is considered a landmark of the city, but I thought it was a fairly nondescript fountain. Apart from the aforementioned boys and location, the fountain is pretty average.
One of the most beautiful European town square I have ever seen I as told its the biggest pedestrian area in Europe Looks like it's out of a story book And the people are extremely helpful and friendly
Nice castle, you can see all of bratislava from the tower.
Everything is cute and beautiful to see This square is very close to the beautiful center of the city, it smells like food!
Unfortunately it isn't there now. It's probably on restoration. Hope to see this ancient peace of art some other time.
A historical fountain in the true center of the city.
The place is great and offers lovely views. Of course it is very touristy and everything is on the pricier side. However the locals are friendly and the shopkeepers don't haggle.
