My mom and I are both part of the Wren test. Neither of us can truly say anything bad about the test or the staff. Everyone from top to bottom is nice and polite and very accommodating. We drive up the the lab in CT, to have our blood taken and although it's quite a long annoying trip our one cousin lives 2 mins away so we get to see her too!! A win! win! My mother is also in love with Bishop's Market that is one more exit away.

Lab technician was excellent but this is strictly a review of the Netest done by Wren Laboratories (and collected there as well). The bottom of their test results state, \The results cannot be interpreted as absolute evidence for the presence or absence of malignant disease.\ And they compared last year's test (2015) which was using different cells to this year's test (2016). Basically, I took a worthless test last year that showed negative results when I may have been positive all along to malignancy if it's accurate this time.

Excellent, friendly and responsive staff! I have been participating in Wren's Registry of NET patients for years now. I have visited the Lab site in CT where I consulted with Dr. Modlin who was very gracious with his time and generous with his knowledge. Wren makes it very easy to participate in quarterly blood draws by sending a complete kit to the patient who then has his/her own doctor do the draw. The patient then sends back the kit by Fedex (at no cost to the patient except for the minimal cost of dry ice). There is no cost to the patient for participating in Wren's Registry, and the potential benefit to NET patients to track their disease progression and to those who wonder if they might have NET in the future is immeasurable. I hope that the NETest soon receives FDA approval for general use in helping NET patients and their doctors track and evaluate their cases for determining treatment needs and options!

My wife is a lungnoid and has been having the Wren Test done periodically for several years. Her tests showed stable disease for a while and about 18 months ago her Wren scores jumped up. As a result her meds were adjusted and her Wren scores went back down. But about a year ago an MRI picked up on several small nodules on her right lung just as the increase in her Wren scores had suggested the MRI should. The test seems to have performed as advertised and her test results verified what we were seeing in terms of her symptoms and in terms the effect of changes in treatment on her disease and her followup Wren scores. The Wren Test is new, but is now the subject of a trial out of Moffet Cancer Center in Florida. It will be interesting to see what the trial shows but it is clear that similar tests for folks with other cancers are gaining acceptance in the scientific and medical community. Proof of concept seems to already be in place.
