Fab place. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The cabin was well appointed and comfortable for my husband and I. The hot tub was a lovely addition too. We were in the Knorren Beck cabin which was tucked away in the corner, providing a beautiful tree lined view and some privacy too. This was our first experience of glamping and they set the bar high.

Quiet, secluded location. Great accommodation which during a stormy weekend was cosy and practical. Dogs warmly welcomed. Could have done with some more coat hooks but everything else was great. Close to Lanercost Priory which is worth a visit. Local shops in Brampton were good and Dave at the local garage was a superstar. Recommended.

Amazing! The setting is gorgeous and all of the staff are so genuine and friendly. Kids were in their element the whole time and can't wait to go back. Pods are perfect and have everything you need. We had a truly wonderful break and are total converts to the Wigwam concept

We stayed for 3 nights over a bank holday, two adults and two younger kids. The wigmam was a perfect size, and layed out beautifully. The whole place was spotless. We paid extra for a cabin with a hot tub, which was a hit, though it's wood fired so it takes a couple of hours to warm up. We had a kettle, electric hob and toaster in the room, as well as a TV with integrated DVD player. The site is lovely, with a woods on one side and a farmhouse and fishery on the other. The kids had a blast fishing, the rod hire was reasonable and everything was provided. The pond is stocked with trout, so we cooked what we caught in the fire pit, we also roasted marshmallows. The local shops in Brampton (about a mile and a half away) were well stocked, with reasonable opening hours, so you are going to be able to get food. The site is well positioned, within striking distance of the lakes and Hadrian's wall.
