Free parking, free entry, plenty of space and not too busy. A lovely relaxing day out, ideal for this odd new world. Loved the Tudor walled garden and refreshments outside the Tiptree Tearoom.

Great place to visit. It's free! Felt very safe concerning covid, very few people were there. Did I say it was free!

History and architecture and garden and a restaurant all in one place. This is a great place for friends and family on a sunny day to visit and have a meal together as well. The barns are interesting if you like history as well since there are signs in each place that tell some history as well. This is a place for weddings as well from the info displayed...I definitely enjoyed the garden...it was well designed.. I enjoyed the visit..a couple of hours can be used very easily here...

Good way to while away a few hours, fascinating historical sight, presentation is very understated. The 700 year old barns are impressive, the Tudor walled garden is ideal for a tranquil wander. Word of warning, if you wish to visit the Tiptree tearoom book ahead, the Cressing temple website does not mention this and the Tiptree website only mentions ringing to check that they are open as the opening hours at all their sites are variable. That said Tiptree staff did find us a table but with a time limit before the next booking needed it.
